Wire Wrapping Celtic Style – a wonderful pattern and idea with silver wire

by CGM Findings on August 2, 2012

We found this wonderful idea and short tutorial that we stumbled on. It is a wonderful way to explore with jewelry wire. I’m sure you can use silver wire, gold wire, copper, or now silver filled and gold filled. It has a unique Celtic pattern. It’s a little tricky but certainly do-able. Part of the fun of making jewelry is having a little bit of a challenge but not enough to where your pulling your hair out at the workbench. For those wire lovers this might spark an interest.

Jasmine is a Celtic bracelet pattern around the two poles are flexed, the Celtic ear than the sample is only one pole. Already seen in several places in this pattern, Herringbone, this seems to be a popular pattern.”

This probably isn’t for the faint of heart and certainly looks like a bit of a challenge. Either way we thought it was rather different.
To top it off the description is in Hungarian – So you’re probably going to have to use Google Translate to translate it to English for you. Celtic patterns, especially some, are not out-of-the-ordinary but this nice little wire wrapping project was quite cute and fairly original. Either way, it’s wire all the way with a few beads on top! Have fun.

A nice jewelry idea using wire wrapping and a few other elements.
