yes, I have a macro lens, but I have found that I get in closer with a regular lens that allows me to telescope in. The ring picture has washed out the silver color. It is patina’d a darker color, but not nearly as dark and drab as the picture depicts. If I had a few more lights to arrange so that the leaves gets as much light, I feel that it would be better :o)
Yes, there is at least one person out there reading this – me! I love the organic form of your jewelry and your experimentation with colors and stone combinations. Your photographs are better than you give yourself credit for. I am also learning to take my photography skills to the next level: macro jewelry photography. On another note, I really enjoyed your blog on steam casting and filed away some of the info and links for future reference. It looks like something fun to experiment with.
