Welcome to the Bench Test and it’s purpose…

by The Bench Test on June 23, 2012

I’ve started this blog so that readers can get information on tools and techniques without getting a sales pitch slithered in.

I do not take sponsorship or and gratuity from companies or individuals promoting their goods or services.

You will get my thoughts and experiences garnered from over 30 years in the trade.

You may not like or agree with what I say, I’m not here for popularity.

I’ve had many wonderful and horrible experiences with companies and tools over the years and I am going to share them with you.

The Bench Test

I've been in the Jewelry trade for over 30 years. During that time I have been Lead Jeweler or Production Manager for some very fine shops. I've designed and manufactured art jewelry, bridge jewelry, fine jewelry, costume and historical jewelry. I love troubleshooting and streamlining processes to generate increased profitability, efficiency, and faster delivery while maintaining high standards of quality.

Thank you for responding. I am new to blogging and have absolutely no idea how much of this works…so I will be flying by the seat of my pants.
As Lily inquired in another post, I would like to offer this as a daily or weekly blog so that I am not stuffing the worlds email inbox’s with unnecessary information.
If you have any questions about products, processes, or techniques, do not hesitate to ask.

Thank you for asking. While I have many years in jewelry, I am a complete newbie in the realm of blogging.
I think that is what I would like this to be also…I loathe having my email stuffed daily and having to sort through endless responses to responses.
If you know how I can do this, please show me the way.
I also invite you to ask questions if you think I may be able to assist.

Is there a daily or weekly blog that I can subscribe to. I dont want to subscribe to a continuous feed and those are the only options I see.
