While most of my work in recent years has still been with pewter, I have still occasionally returned to working silver jewelry, pendants and rings. The techniques involve cold-working methods, cutting, folding, riveting, stamping, forging and wire-wrapping. This pendant includes a piece of amber http://archaeology.about.com/od/baterms/qt/baltic_amber.htm that I had formed myself from a broken remnant, since amber is relatively easy to work with minimal tools, handsaws, files and abrasive papers.
