This bracelet is made of a large-link sterling silver chain with clusters of smoky quartz, vesuvianite, hessonite garnet, and Swarovski pearls on it. The smoky quartz gemstones are a faceted coin shape; they are a brown/gray color. The vesuvanite is olive green, and the hessonite garnet is a deep orange. The Swarovski pearls are two colors: copper and powder green.
The bracelet measures 7 inches (17cm) in length, and closes with a small sterling silver toggle clasp. I put a single pretty carved peridot gemstone leaf near the clasp.
About sterling silver:
Sterling silver is an alloy consisting of a minimum of 92.5% silver (the other 7.5% is typically copper). I choose to use solid sterling instead of plated metal in my work because it is my experience that plating wears off. Properly cared for sterling silver lasts a lifetime and beyond.
