Once the enamel is finished, I flush set four 1mm diamonds in the pre-made seats created by the milling. After the piece is polished, I placed it on a leather cord for displaying. The leather helps to reduce the overall cost of the piece.
Overall I am satisfied with the experiment. The cost range for the pendant falls within my needed price point, and the labor is manageable.

I just discovered your blog and find it very interesting. The JWX-30 is a very nice machine. I’ve had it for about a year and a half now and I haven’t yet tweaked with some of the feed settings and so forth. Enjoying your page so far.
And nice piece by the way!
