This biographical film is about Victor Ries (1905-2011), an important Bay Area jeweler and metalsmith. I had the privilege to study with Victor in his studio during the 1970’s. The movie is a beautiful visual documentary about this very gifted man’s life and times. I served as technical consultant for the production. I also appear in the film as commentator on Victor’s work and throughout the movie, as I duplicate a silver baby spoon made originally by Victor.
