Disclaimer
This is my personal disclaimer to everyone who are reading my diamond setting essays. I cannot be held liable for any errors or omissions, careless handling of machines of any kind.
I feel this disclaimer is a “must read”, as I also read this aloud to my classroom students before any start of a new setting class. It releases me from responsibility in misreading instructions, as well as for the school.
The publisher, author, and distributor assume no liability in any breakage or accidental destruction of any genuine, or synthetic gemstone and/or any diamonds. This includes any physical injury caused by avoiding care, in the use of any bur or drill, that is used in the direct process of setting any kind of synthetic stone, gemstone and/or diamonds.
When using any bench-grinder all “face-guards” must be worn at all times. All eyeglasses must be worn when grinding and shaping of any graver. No liability is to be shared with the author, the publisher, or the distributor if the setter and/or jewellery technician tends to avoid any form of wearing apparel to protect the face, skin, or eyes.
