I've brought my favorite colors together in this bracelet. I used lampwork glass beads in two shapes (big marquis and small squares), chunks of green garnet (grossular), and round brown snowflake jasper in two sizes. These wonderful beads are accented by small sterling silver beads. The lampwork glass beads have swirls of colors including olive green and golden brown. The grossular garnet is a gorgeous olive green. The brown snowflake jasper is a dark brown with a subtle and interesting texture.
This bracelet measures 8 inches (20cm) in length, and it closes with a large sterling silver lobster clasp. The bracelet will fit slightly larger than average wrist.
Garnet is January's birthstone.
About sterling silver:
Sterling silver is an alloy consisting of a minimum of 92.5% silver (the other 7.5% is typically copper). I choose to use solid sterling instead of plated metal in my work because it is my experience that plating wears off. Properly cared for sterling silver lasts a lifetime and beyond.
