This bracelet is adorned with two shapes of coordinating lampwork glass beads: large marquis shape and small squares. The beads have swirls of color including olive green, golden brown, and black. There are other various glass beads that coordinate with the lampwork beads. Dark bronze-colored seed beads tie the colors together. I loosely braided the three strands together, making this bracelet very easy to wear.
The clasp is a hook-and-eye style sterling silver clasp. The bracelet measures 7 3/4 inches (20cm) in length, and it will fit an average size wrist.
About sterling silver:
Sterling silver is an alloy consisting of a minimum of 92.5% silver (the other 7.5% is typically copper). I choose to use solid sterling instead of plated metal in my work because it is my experience that plating wears off. Properly cared for sterling silver lasts a lifetime and beyond.
