These snakeskin jasper beads are one more example of stones I saw at a gem show and absolutely could not resist. They are an usual octagon shape (rectangle with the corners cut off), and they have so many gorgeous colors and patterns on them. The primary colors in the jasper are green and brown. They coordinate so nicely with the small round green nephrite jade stones (6mm). I've accented the stone beads with sterling silver rondelles.
This bracelet measures 7 3/4 inches (19cm) in length, and it closes with a large sterling silver lobster clasp. The bracelet will fit an average to slightly larger than average wrist.
About sterling silver:
Sterling silver is an alloy consisting of a minimum of 92.5% silver (the other 7.5% is typically copper). I choose to use solid sterling instead of plated metal in my work because it is my experience that plating wears off. Properly cared for sterling silver lasts a lifetime and beyond.
